Optical Measurement of Clockworks
In order to check the clockwork mechanism, different measuring methods are necessary. For the smallest parts it is not possible to use contact methods. In this case, non-contact optical measurement can check the parts. Kappas high-resolution digital camera system DX 20 with integrated software is the ideal complete solution for this application.

It delivers high-precision close-ups of the clockwork mechanism, anchor, balance, jewels and more. The software Kappa InageBase (KIB) measures distances, radii, angles, and other customer-specific parameters in the image. Camera parameters, image data, and measuring results are archived so that quality management can benefit from the clear documentation.
