Because its modular hardware-independent structure all basic configurations like camera control, live display and image capture are the same no matter what combination of camera and frame grabber you use. The sdk3 uses modern Windows® technologies like .NET Framework 2.0 and DirectX9. The programmer interface is a C functions library (API). It performs all camera-specific tasks like live image display, control and image capture, and provides the users room for their own application development. An integrated logging mechanism supports the program development. The signature cameras are aided by a special module, which also allows for the processing of the stored images (for example the verification of the signature). Comprehensive program samples (C++/C#) clarify the structure and the administration of the sdk3 and can be used as the basis for your own programs.
