Technical details

The monochrome system with increased resistance to temperature, shock, and vibrations comes with 12 bit DSP and > 58 dB SNR. Long-time integration is possible in combination with the Software Kappa ImageBase and frame grabber.

Numerous functions are available via RS 232: Ajustment of AIT, AGC, Gamma, horizontal image mirror and selectable measuring windows. The patented function DRE provides clear view under difficult viewing conditions. An integrated line generator (LG) for reticles helps checking the positioning. With the integrated restart/reset function the camera can be synchronized to external events. Selftests for operating temperature, voltage and test pattern generator assure a controlled operation. A separate control unit MCX 200 is available for PC-independent operation.

The CF 8/5 MX is available with different sensors, an NIR version is available for increased sensitivity in the near IR (0.015 Lux). Long-time integrations can be realized with external image memory or frame grabber.
