The cameras of this rugged video color camera familiy are equipped with 1/2“, 1/3“ or 1/4“ CCD sensors and offer full video resolution at 752 x 582 pixel (PAL) or 768 x 494 pixel (NTSC). 10 bit digital signal processing and a signal-to-noise ratio of 50 dB are the main characteristics of these cameras.
Due to their Super HAD sensors und maximum gain the sensitivity is exceptionally high (optionally the cameras can be fi tted with EXview HAD Sensor). Variable voltage of 9-36 V DC (3 W) can be supplied via the 15pin Kappa CSI connector. The housing design is extremely rugged. The camera is pressure, vibration and temperature resistant. The exceptional image signal quality and the rugged characteristics are the reasons for the camera family’s great success in aviation applications. They have proved a perfect match for the use in aircraft at maximum altitudes in customer-specifi c designs, for example, with outboard-deicing housing or with wide angle optics [130° „FOV“ Field of View].
