The Kappa GigE cameras are available with various sensors; in color, monochrome or cooled versions, with megapixel resolution, frame rates of up to 30/90 Fps and „short trigger delay“. They now allow cable lengths of up to 100m/330ft (CAT5E). Special Kappa features like the camera-internal color processing, the camera-internal signature creation and the cooled version with the special „Slow Scan Mode“ (67 dB) are also available for the GigE camera model range. The Kappa Software Pool offers three different tools: The camera control software KCC, the software development kit (sdk3) for integration into third-party software applications, and the application software KIB for measurement tasks. Typical for Kappa is the extremely rugged camera design, from the circuitry and the selection of components up to the housing design. The cameras perfectly suit a wide range of applications: Visual inspection of electronic components, foodstuffs, packaging, applications in the area of measuring technology and machine vision, traffic surveillance, and demanding sensitive observation tasks.
