With an investment volume of 1 million Euros the Kappa opto-electronics GmbH expands its production area by 750 m². In the first quarter of 2009 staff will move into the Kappa headquarters building extension.

The improved room concept will make production even more efficient.  At the same time, the location in Göttingen City will be closed and after two years the software team will rejoin headquarters.

The building extension is the conclusion of Kappa’s consistent investment strategy. In the course of the last 3 years Kappa has continuously expanded staff, reinforcing the team with new, young employees. Also, 0.5m Euros have been invested into machines and measurement technology. This investment provides secure future and stability for Kappa’s business activities. Kappa product series and customer series will directly benefit from extended production capacity. Focusing on niche markets and customer-oriented product development is Kappa’s efficient formula for stability in uncertain times.
